AI + Prospect Research = Match Made in Heaven
Did you know that I was the Director of Advancement for seven years at my former school and was the chief fundraiser?
It was in that role that I was introduced to Simon Tumansky, the Founder and CEO of Chalkbooks. I loved what Simon was doing and now serve as an advisor to Chalkbooks.
I’m writing today to share a new feature they have released called AI Prospect Researcher.
Chalkbooks has been working with Phillips Exeter’s Advancement team to train this tool, which mirrors the best practices of Exeter’s prospect researchers.
Chalkbooks has been seeing pretty good results for executive-level folks at public companies and is now working on handling non-unique names and prospects who keep a more low-key profile. These are notoriously hard for anyone to screen (even the best human researchers 😀).
