What I'm teaching this spring (and why)
I've been experimenting with AI tools for a while now. And I've noticed something interesting in my conversations with school marketers.
Almost everyone has tried ChatGPT at this point. Most people have had that moment where they asked it to write something, got back a response, and thought, "Okay, that's kind of cool."
But then what?
For a lot of us, that's where it stopped. Maybe you've used it to draft an email here or there. Maybe you've asked it to help with a social media caption when you were stuck. But using AI as a real tool in your daily enrollment and marketing work? That's a different thing entirely.
There's a gap between playing with AI and actually integrating it into your workflow in a way that saves you time and makes your outreach more personal.
That's what I'm teaching this spring.
I'm partnering with the Enrollment Management Association (EMA) to deliver a four-week master class called "From Prompt to Pipeline: Transforming Enrollment with AI." We start on April 13 and run through May 8. One hour of live instruction on Mondays, plus office hours on Fridays, so you can bring your real questions and challenges.
This isn't about the basics of prompting. It's about building sustainable workflows. Creating content that actually sounds like your school. Personalizing family communication without losing the human touch. And by the end, you'll have built a custom AI tool designed specifically for your daily work.
