Prologue
This week, I wanted to share a tool with you that I can't live without.
It's an AI Notetaker for Zoom and Google Meet called Fathom.
Here's how it works: Fathom joins any Zoom or Meet call I choose and appears as a "participant" with its own tile.
It works quietly in the background, recording the call.
A few minutes after the call is complete, Fathom emails me the full transcript of the call, including a video recording and an AI-generated summary of the call with these headings:
- Meeting Purpose
- Key Takeaways
- Topics
- Next Steps
And if that wasn't great enough, I can log into Fathom and have it extract Action Items from the transcript so I know the to-dos that need to be completed.
I love this tool because it lets me pay attention to the person or persons on the call without putting my head down to write notes or to-dos, so I don't miss anything.
It really is remarkable and has made me a better participant in meetings and calls.
I encourage you to check it. I've worked a deal with Fathom so that if you sign up using the link below, you'll get free access to three months of advanced AI summaries.
There is also a free account option. :-)
I hope you enjoy checking out this tool.
Thanks,
Brendan
