Prologue
This weekend, my family and I traveled to Epcot Center to belatedly celebrate my son's 21st birthday by drinking "Around The World."
My sister and her family also traveled to Epcot with us because my niece Anna recently turned 21. We have been planning this trip for two years, and I can't even begin to tell you what an incredible time we had this weekend.
I share this, including this picture of my daughter and son at Epcot, to remind you that it's essential that you, as a MarCom professional, take time off, get away from the office, and close your laptop.
Please learn from my mistakes by working too much and not taking time off. I have learned that rest, time off, and unplugging are essential for productivity, creativity, and mental health.
Don't ever be afraid to take time to rest, recharge, and make memories. I'm a better marketer for it!
