Communications Coordinator @ The Village School of Naples
The Communications Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Communications and works closely with the Head of School, the Director of Advancement, the Admissions team, and other internal and external partners. The position will manage multiple projects at once, be comfortable balancing deadlines, and have the ability to work independently in a welcoming environment. He or she will proactively prioritize leadership requests and ensure the team has the support it needs.
The Communications Coordinator will assist in developing and be responsible for executing The Village School’s marketing communications plan, which supports admissions and advancement events and priorities both internally and externally with a specific focus on updating and creating website content, capturing and editing still photos and video content, creating and managing social media activity, and writing and editing e-newsletters. As a content curator and creator, this position requires copywriting and editing abilities, creative and reliable project management, and story-mining and research.
The Communications Coordinator will drive awareness, participation, and brand recognition of The Village School, both on and off-campus, in support of reputation and brand management, student recruitment, media awareness, and audience building.
