Prologue
As you are probably aware, I have been talking about membership in the MarCom Society lately. With my ability to now focus on making the MarCom Society what I dreamed it could be, there has never been a better time to join.
We currently have over 200 members in the Society, and I'm so happy that people are already making great use of the membership – and there's even more good stuff to come in the future!
Here's what Kelly Abbate, Director of Communications & Marketing, Sage Hill School, had to say:
"I have been a member of the MarCom Society for just about a year, but even before that, I was getting Brendan's newsletter and a member of the SchneiderB University Facebook group as well. I can't tell you how important these resources have been to me – especially in the last two years, as we have all dealt with challenges related to COVID. I love knowing there is a community of people that I can turn to – to ask questions, get advice, or just hear and learn from how other professionals are dealing with their own challenges. Brendan especially has always been super responsive and helpful – honestly, his advice saved me as I was starting a website redesign process earlier this year! This community is so specific to my job and what I do, and that isn't always easy to find when in other online communities. I know I am in a place with other like-minded individuals, and I look forward to continuing my membership in this great community."
Sound good? Well, it's not too late to join a LIVE webinar I'm hosting today at 11:00 am EST to offer a behind-the-scenes look so you can "see" what membership looks like.
I hope you'll join me in the webinar. Register Now
Thanks, Brendan

Marketing Your School’s Value by Age-and-Stage™
Preschool. Kindergarten. Elementary School. Middle School. High School. These divisions are commonly understood as the sequential progression of learning and development from early years through graduation. Your independent school may use different terminology (i.e., lower school, upper school, etc.) or serve specific segments (i.e., K-8), but the idea is essentially the same.
These well-defined, widely recognized divisions provide structure for how school leaders map out curriculum, develop programming, and scaffold the educational experience. They inform how schools organize teams and clubs, hire faculty and staff, and design campuses. In fact, there’s not much in school life that doesn’t take this progression into account.
